You have to travel pretty far south for "the best view in the world", but this "exceptional" Battery Park bastion at the tip of Manhattan is so "fabulous in every way" it's "worth it"; from the "impeccable" service to the "fantastic" 14th-floor Rise bar to the "luxurious rooms" (Liberty View ones come "with a telescope to scan NY Harbor"), this is "the place to stay" "if you have business Downtown"; just be warned, it's a "$20 taxi ride to Midtown" – and "good luck getting a cab after hours."

It's quiet and clean. The staff are as friendly as can be.

It's near the Battery which is great! It's far from uptown though...

I love this place. And even though in a way it's off the beaten track, that's what makes it special. We'll be back as often as we can be.

We loved our view of the Statue of Liberty and the telescope in the room!

The view of NY Harbor was fabulous. My 10 year old loved the telescope in the room. The neighborhood was quiet and only a short walk of a couple blocks to various subway lines.

The view, the bed was soft and compy. The room service was excellent.

Windows were dirty, but a note in the room said cleaning would begin the following week.

I really loved staying there. Priceline made it more affordable. Excellent views and great service.
